What a rip off. The guy in the office charged over $140 for a cubic yard. I had no idea about bulk pricing but apparently someone told me they charged me almost DOUBLE the normal price of the soil. Lost a seasonal customer.

4/9 Edit: Living earth Plano has amazing customer service and called me personally to discuss the quality of my compost that was delivered. It sounds like this is not the norm for them in terms of quality of compost, and based off the other reviews I am confident in that as well. I spoke with Mr. Ortiz, and he 100% made it right for me. It's been a while since I've received great customer service like this! They were truly disappointed in my experience and not only wanted my full feedback but made huge efforts to make it right. Thank you! I ordered 10 cubic yards of "organic" compost. Delivery was great and they did make time for me in the week, so I will give them that. But the compost itself FILLED with trash. Plastic bags, bottle caps, cigrette pieces, metal pieces, food wrappers, and so much other plastic..... Very very disappointed.

Started getting my mulch and compost here with great results. The guys in the office are really helpful, but be aware it’s not like a “store” where you can shop around. They have some samples of the different mediums and you just pay and swing your car around to pick it up.

I have worked with Living Earth Technologies for over 20 years and they continue to be dependability in a rapidly changing environment. Their products are consistent, their price is better than anything around, they’re dependable, and most importantly they are fair and reasonable. Kurt and his team care about your project. **1/20/24: Editing my review from 2 stars to 1 star after that canned (8 month late) response from the business. I did reach out to the company, to that EXACT email address, two times in the wake of the issues we had and received no response. We stand by our original review that we will not be using Living Earth again. For good measure, I'm now attaching some photos of the "compost" we received and some of the debris in it. We purchased this for lawn top dressing (as it's advertised), and it was woefully inadequate for that purpose.** They get credit for their pre-purchase customer service and for delivery, but if I could, I'd give 0 stars for quality of their product. We ordered A LOT (25 cubic yards) of compost for our property. When we went to use it, we realized the compost was nowhere near finished, and it hadn't been screened even once. Our compost was filled with large leaves, big sticks/twigs, and trash. At first, I really thought they accidentally gave us mulch. This is compost that's advertised as being ideal for top dressing lawns. I tried reaching out to Living Earth to come to a resolution, and I received no response despite multiple attempts.
